Erlebnispark Meeres-Aquarium Zella-Mehlis

As the largest of its kind in central Germany, the marine aquarium adventure park in Zella-Mehlis allows visitors to experience the diversity of aquatic habitats up close. In addition to its own crocodile house, the aquarium also houses more than 60 aquariums for freshwater and saltwater fish. The shark tank, which holds around one million litres, is unique in Thuringia. There, visitors can admire adult nurse, lemon and tiger sharks behind glass.
