The Jazz Club Karlsruhe e. V. celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019 and has been based in the former "die kurbel" cinema ever since.
Since its official founding in 1969, the jazz club has stood for a
lively jazz scene, legendary concert moments and many international
stars on the jazz club's stages. The actual roots are even
older and can be traced back to the 1940s. There have always been music enthusiasts, lovers and crazy people who wanted and realized good jazz in Karlsruhe.
