Rolandstadt Calbe (Saale)
The historic Rolandstadt Calbe is idyllically situated on the Saalebogen. It owes its title to the Roland statue standing in front of the town hall, which symbolises knightly loyalty. The Bismarck Tower on the Großer Wartberg offers a marvellous panoramic view over Calbe and the Saale. This was erected in honour of Prince Otto von Bismarck.
