Freiburg - Cosmos and Back

In the Planetarium Freiburg, we start almost daily to the wonders of the universe. Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto, the asteroid belt, distant stars, red giants, white dwarfs, gaseous nebulae, galaxies, supernovae, pulsars, quasars, and black holes - the list of destinations is as long as the universe is great.

Moreover, thanks to the cutting-edge projection system comprising the planetarium projector and 360-degree video projection, the Planetarium passengers, so to speak, dip in and are surrounded by the vastness of the universe. Thus, the presentation of the scientific worldview of the 21st century on South Baden's top projection will be a sensual experience for young and old. In ever-changing programs, the Planetarium tells the greatest story in the world, namely the history of the world itself from the Big Bang to the formation of the solar system with the sun and its 8 planets, including the earth.
