"Zur Roten Kuppe” (The Red Cup) first mentioned in 1389; 1499-1793 drinking lounge of the Guild of Gentlemen. 1674-1681 seat of the Supreme Court and Parliament of Alsace- In 1673 the “Sun King” Louis XIV stayed here during his visit to Breisach. After the destruction in 1793, only the main entrance has remained.
