The Filmtheater Schauburg is an arthouse cinema in Karlsruhe and regularly wins awards for its program. In summer, the Schauburg organizes the legendary open-air cinema at Gottesaue Palace and regularly releases films in their original soundtrack.
The Schauburg currently has three auditoriums with 350, 150 and 61 seats. The large auditorium (Cinerama) has a curved, 17×7 meter Cinerama screen. The cinema's staircase with a curved, counter-running staircase from the 1950s is a listed building.
