The Jazz Club Karlsruhe e. V. celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019 and has since been based in the premises of the former cinema "die kurbel." Since its official founding in 1969, the jazz club has been synonymous with a vibrant jazz scene, legendary concert moments, and many international stars on the jazz club's stages. Its actual roots are even older and can be traced back to the 1940s. There have always been music enthusiasts, lovers, and fanatics who wanted good jazz in Karlsruhe and made it happen.
