The Kulturzentrum Tollhaus is located on the site of the listed former slaughterhouse. The Tollhaus offers an almost daily changing cultural program from the fields of music, dance, cabaret, circus, comedy, puppet theater, etc.

Since summer 2010, the TOLLHAUS has had two halls and two foyers that can be used for performances, so that events with up to 900 seats are possible in the large hall 2, depending on the type and stage size. The flexible, retractable grandstand also allows partially seated events with a capacity of over 1,300 standing and seated. The previous Event Hall 1 has a capacity of just under 500.

For around 90,000 visitors from Karlsruhe and the region every year, the Tollhaus offers an interesting contemporary program from all cultural genres: cabaret, comedy, dance theater, world music, jazz, festivals, open-air events and in-house productions.
