Welcome to
The Rheinstrandbad Rappenwört is one of the most scenic and largest pools in Germany. In addition to a wave pool and a diving pool, an adventure pool with many water attractions offers fun and relaxation for every visitor. For younger guests and swimmers looking for peace and quiet, there is a paddling pool and a solar-heated multi-purpose pool. There are also ring tennis courts, a volleyball court, a soccer pitch and a basketball court, a children's playground and an attractive 18-hole mini-golf course. A restaurant with an adjoining kiosk and an ice cream store cater for your physical well-being. There is also a store in the entrance area. Bauhaus style at the Rheinstrandbad The extensive outdoor pool and sports complex of the Rheinstrandbad as a public pool, planned as early as 1924, is symmetrically arranged around the bathing pool with sandy beach, which branches off from the Rhine in a crescent shape. The high-rise buildings by Robert Amann, built in 1928/29, consist of a two-storey central restaurant building flanked by two flat changing rooms for men and women with internal gymnastics courts. The design with flat roofs, ribbon windows and smooth rendered surfaces is based on the Dammerstock. Exposed concrete is even used in the changing rooms. Over the years, many parts of the pool were redesigned and additional pools were added.
