Built in 1986, the Eichenthal bunker was designed to maintain military radio communications in the event of a nuclear attack. It has been open to the public as a Cold War memorial since 2006. Not only the technical equipment is presented on a guided tour of the bunker. The simulation of a real combat situation is also part of the underground experience.
