Deutsches Zeitungsmuseum Wadgassen

Am Abteihof 1, 66787 Wadgassen

Deutsches Zeitungsmuseum Wadgassen
A building dating back to the 12th century, formerly part of the Premonstratensian abbey in Wadgassen, now houses the German Newspaper Museum. It was opened in 2004 as a museum, learning and communication centre. While the permanent exhibition in the north wing illuminates 400 years of press history and shows many original documents, changing special exhibitions on topics such as photography, calligraphy and caricature provide variety.
