Historic old towns

Grimmen

Lange Straße 21, 18507 Grimmen

Grimmen
Mentioned in documents as early as 1267, the town of Grimmen developed into a centre for crafts and trade over the following centuries. Today, it is not only the Greifswald Gate from the middle of the 14th century that bears witness to the city's medieval heritage. The town hall also catches the eye with its neo-Gothic pointed towers, while St Mary's Church impresses with its ornately carved Baroque pulpit.
