The Hockenheimring, world-renowned for Formula 1, offers pure, premium motorsports action with the German Touring Car Masters (DTM), thrilling dragster duels, exciting motorcycle racing, and unique classic car races. The versatility with which the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg—opened in 1932—welcomes up to 700,000 visitors annually is a flagship attraction of the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. Formula 1, the DTM, and the NitrOlympX drag racing event, along with many other top-tier races, offer international motorsports.
But open-air concerts featuring global stars like AC/DC and Robbie Williams are also among the legendary events at this world-famous racetrack. Throughout the year, the automotive industry conducts test drives, and visitors can enjoy first-class driving experiences. Thousands of participants gather every summer when the BASF FIRMENCUP invites them to the running event of the year on the 4.574 km-long Grand Prix circuit. There’s plenty to experience at the Hockenheimring. The historic circuit is fully booked on more than 320 days a year, and with its numerous options and venues, it offers the perfect setting for any kind of event.
