The Oder-Spree lake district is not considered Brandenburg's most water-rich region for nothing. A total of 300 lakes are ideal for swimming, fishing and canoeing. Hikers can also enjoy windmills and unspoilt forests in the Schlaubetal valley, for example. Baroque splendour awaits visitors to Neuzelle Monastery. However, the thermal spring in Bad Saarow is highly valued by spa guests.
