The fascination of Danube infiltration

The Donaufurt - crossing over the Danube at the largest main sinking point of the Danube seepage
This is actually where the Danube dries up most often, especially in the summer months.
The city of Tuttlingen has opened up this special spot in the Möhringen district to visitors as part of the "Young Danube Landscape Park" project:
On the one hand, there is access from the Danube cycle path, which is marked by blue steles. On the other hand, you can easily descend from the Donaufurt parking lot (on the road from Möhringen to Hattingen).
Stepping stones in the Danube make it possible to cross when the water level is low.
If the water level is higher, the ford cannot be crossed.
