Welcome to

The 18-meter-high observation tower on the Gansnest offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the Upper Danube Nature Park. A varied landscape unfolds in all four directions: To the **north**, you can see the deeply carved Bäratal valley. To the **northeast** lie the cliffs at the edge of the Danube Valley: Rauher Stein, Eichfels, and Altstadtfels; to the **east**, Bronnen Castle sits atop a high rocky ridge. To the **south** lies the small town of Fridingen, and to the west, the romantic Danube Valley with the districts of Mühlheim nestled in the valley. To the **northwest**, right at the edge of the Albtrauf escarpment, stands the Lemberg—the highest mountain in the Swabian Alb—with its iron observation tower.
