This was probably built on the city wall in 1524. As a successor to the medieval Latin school, the building served the Fathers of Zwiefalten as a college and grammar school from 1686. After they had moved into their newly built college in the immediate vicinity, the town sold the building to a widowed Baroness Speth von Untermarchtal. Inside, high-quality stucco ceilings testify to upscale living culture. Today, the building serves as a municipal gallery for modern art.
