In Straubenhardt, you can fly high: take a glider into the air or climb the Schwanner Warte observation tower - dream views guaranteed. The highest point for hikers: the Westweg, which you can join here. As the gateway to the northern Black Forest, Straubenhardt also delights nature lovers with the valley in the most beautiful meadow valley and the romantic Holzbach valley.
With its exploration tasks and research questions, this GeoTour turns the topic of "rocks and geology" into an exciting outdoor experience. All texts and pictures can be found in this brochure, there are no information boards in the area.
Please note: Walking on forest paths, streams, roadsides, forest areas, boulders etc. is at your own risk!
Parking is available directly at the edge of the trail. There is no signposted parking area for hikers. Follow the forest road straight ahead into the forest. After approx. 90 m, a conspicuous boulder comes into view on the right at the edge of the path.
