The “Tullaturm” (Tulla Tower) was built in 1874 as a memorial to Tamer of the Wild Rhine Johann Gottfried Tulla (1770-1828). The Breisach Theatre Festival has been taking place here since 1962, on an annual basis from mid June until the beginning of September.
