Keplergasse 2, 71263 Weil der Stadt
Johannes Kepler is said to have been born in this inconspicuous little house on December 27, 1571 as the eldest child of Heinrich Kepler and his wife Katharina.
The Kepler House houses the "Kepler Museum", which uses display boards and documents to provide an introduction to Kepler's life and work in the context of the religious and scientific debates of his time.
The museum, designed by the Kepler Society, displays instruments and devices from Kepler's time as well as computer and sound simulations that relate his work to modern times (see also: Kepler Museum).
